Breckenridge Saloon Tour
Join us in a tour of historic Breckenridge saloons.
Drinks are not included in price. Tour will be Tuesday March 10th @ 6:00pm
I have arranged this to be a private tour only for our group!!!
About the tour: Breckenridge wasn't all Victorian ladies and "proper" behavior. In 1880, Breckenridge was home to 18 saloons, ladies of the night resided in the red light district on "other side of the tracks" and brawls broke out regularly. Those interested in the seedier side of Breckenridge history can knock one back on the saloon tour, which visits the Breckenridge Distillery tasting room (when available) between stories of the many local saloons that once operated here -- from the 1800s through the early years of the ski area. Tour stops include establishments whose roots date back to the 19th century.
What to expect: This is a 90 minute long outdoor walking tour offered in sun, wind, and snow. It covers about six town blocks and goes up and down a few small hills. There are generally a few indoor stops into historic buildings. This tour is not a pub crawl, however, guest still have the opportunity to purchase alcoholic beverages at some stops. Dressing for the weather and conditions is important.
