  This trip brings together the best of a ski and adventure trip! Amazing slopes, world class Nordic spa, Northern Lights and Glacier tours, and Ceremonial start of the Iditarod Race.

  

  
  

  Alyeska Resort sits just south of Anchorage with amazing views and features not only amazing skiing and snowboarding, but also a world class Nordic spa.

  

  After our 4 days of skiing at Alyeska, we transition to Anchorage on Wednesday afternoon.  There we experience a Northern Lights tour, a Glacier tour, plus the ceremonial start of the Iditarod Dog Sled Race.

  

  
  

  ^{Some useful stats - average high temp 34F and average low temp 20F; 8am - 6:30pm are daylight hours; average snowfall for season is 440 inches and for our travel week they have an average of 1.8 bluebird days, 1.6 powder days, and 0.6 bluebird powder days.  Flight times are 13 hours going with a 3 hour layover in Seattle and 12 hours coming home with a 90 minute layover in Seattle.}

  Orlando Ski and Travel Club membership, a deposit, and a completed online registration form are required to reserve space on this trip.   Accommodations/roommates are assigned in order deposits or credit card payments are received. No space is held without a $500 per person deposit or full trip credit card payment. Early commitments get first choice! *Very Limited Single Occupancy rooms available (1 person MAX in Single Occupancy rooms; no exceptions). *Very Limited Land Only packages available.

  CANCELLATION POLICY: All cancellations must be received by Orlando Ski and Travel Club in writing. No penalty if cancellation is received by July 31, 2025; $100 per person cancellation fee if cancellation is received August 1, 2025 - September 30, 2025. Cancellations October 1 – December 15, 2025, will result in forfeiture of the greater of the deposit paid or the total cost to the club of such cancelation. No refunds after December 15, 2025. TRAVEL INSURANCE HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

  SKI in ENORMOUS Baqueira Beret – PYRENEES Mts with 5600 skiable acres, 100 miles of marked runs plus 7 miles of off-pistes. BB has an elevation of 4,920 - 8,560’ with reliable snow conditions thru April! 

  

  
  

  SKI: BB is larger than Vail, Aspen, Snowmass, Steamboat or JH. Due to its position on the Northern side of the Pyrenees, BB has a good snow record throughout the winter. Board the gondola via the Galleria (4 min walk from hotel via enclosed glassed-in walkway) with complimentary ski lockers at base of gondola (no schlepping skis). Gondola lifts skiers to a central area on the mt, from that point there are 20 chair lifts, some of which are 6 packs. There are 6 beginner, 40 easy, 37 intermediate and 15 expert trails. In addition to downhill skiing, there is cross country skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling & dog sledding. Staying in LUXURIOUS 5 star Marriott AC Hotel with 50 mins FREE use daily of their PREMIER SPA. Access to “Hincha” a Michelin starred restaurant, a Night Club, a Ski rental store & the Gondola, all from the glassed-in Galleria, no coat necessary!

  TOUR starting the trip in historic/coastal Barcelona with its rich cultural & classical architectural vibe! Trip includes a guided walking tour of historic city center, view architectural landmarks of Gaudi, such as the Sagrada Familia (left), a Palace & a public park filled w/whimsical structures & a panoramic view. His works have been designated UNESCO World Heritage sites. Take a guided wine or dine tour, paddle board in the Med Sea or rent an electric bike. Visit numerous museums or Liceu Opera House, in operation since 1847. The city is known for its vibrant culinary scene & Cava sparkling wine. Feel like royalty when staying at 4 Star Avenida Palace Hotel, located in the walkable city center. 

  TOUR wrapping up the trip on the NORTHERN coast of Spain, basing in Bilbao, a bustling cosmopolitan city. Most famous for its iconic Guggenheim Museum (right) with its titanium-clad exterior, a landmark of contemporary architecture & home to a diverse collection of modern and contemporary art. Bilbao is a vibrant & colorful city; known for its Tapas & rich Local Seafood dishes. Includes an all day tour, plus a cruise along the Nervión River to Getxo, a charming coastal town, where lunch will be served in a seafront restaurant, celebrating local gastronomy. Staying in the walkable city center.
