Bioluminescent Kayak Tour of Indian River and Mosquito Lagoon



During the warm summer months, the waters of Florida's Indian River and Mosquito Lagoon come alive with Bio-luminescence. Every movement in the water produces light! From the swirl of your paddle or the trail of a speeding school of mullet (which look like hundreds of blue-green underwater bottle rockets), to the ghostly glow of a slow-moving manatee or sting ray, every movement is illumined. The tour lasts 1½ to 2 hours. This tour is appropriate for inexperienced, as well as seasoned, paddlers. A Day Away Kayak Tours provides skilled guides to help beginners have a memorable experience.

Cost is $45.00 per person. Our paddle excursion begins 8:30 P.M. the night of Saturday, August 19. For anyone interested we will meet for dinner around 6:30 before launch. Once we select a nearby restaurant we will post meeting place
