  Spring showers bring May flowers, along with balmy breezes from our many lakes in Florida. We will experience balmy breezes at our May Social at Gators Dockside in Baldwin Park, Orlando, as we mingle on the patio with beautiful views of Lake Baldwin. Join us at this family-friendly sports-bar to enjoy their signature grilled chicken wings as a light appetizer provided by the Orlando Ski Club. If you need to order dinner, Gators offers a varied menu with something for every palate. This venue is located at 4982 New Broad St., Orlando, 32814, in beautiful Baldwin Park. Parking is located in two parking garage locations on Jake Street, which is the street behind Gators Dockside. The parking in the garages is located on the 1st level only for the public. Another parking area is utilizing the Publix parking in the 2nd block from Gators Dockside which is a short, but lovely walk to the restaurant. Gators offers a full bar to quench your thirst with a full evening of Happy Hour pricing.   GREAT OUTDOOR EVENT/PICNIC- Our club loves to welcome new people (learn more about the $250 incentive below)

  
  

  Get ready for a fun Sunday morning and afternoon with fellow Orlando Ski and Travel Club members at Wekiva Island. We have a Private area/ Cabana rented for our group located right downstream from the Springs on the Wekiva River. You may swim, drink, use/rent kayaks or canoes and of course Socialize and eat! Everyone attending is eligible and encouraged to compete in our 2nd Club Corn Hole tournament with Master MC - Michelle! Prizes awarded :)

  BONUS: 1 Drink Ticket offered for all current club members and 1 drink for new member sign ups! First opportunity at this event to preview our highly anticipated ski and adventure trips for 2024 - 2025. Some trips will have limited space available so remember to sign up for your desired trip/trips as soon as they are released for sign up on our website (OrlandoSkiandTravelClub.com).   Rain or Shine as we have a large covered building with patio and a covered cabana reserved for our group. Important, Arrive Early! (arrive by 10:15am or most likely you won't be able to get in, they will turn you around at the gate and send you packing) as Wekiva Island parking and capacity is limited. Relax, Splash and Explore at Wekiva Island!
  

  Note: Parking is VERY limited at Wekiva Island, so plan to arrive early and carpool if you can. Outside alcohol is strictly prohibited but can be purchased from the onsite Tooting Otter Bar (Beer and Wine).

We’ll raft the Ocoee River (where the 1996 Olympics were held) and Kayak (float) the Hiawassee River (very relaxing day) both are located in Tennessee. We’ll participate on group Hikes in both States and go out one day on the Lake with a wonderful Pontoon Boat (# rope swing).   CANCELLATION POLICY: All cancellations must be received by Orlando Ski and Travel Club Trip Leader in writing.  If you cancel a reservation at least 90 days prior to your departure, you will receive a refund equal to your Trip Price (less $100 Club Cancellation Fee).  You will receive a refund less any non-refundable airfare/add-ons, non-refundable services fees, and the following per-person charges. Any applicable refunds will be returned to you in a manner to be determined by O.A.T. or Grand Circle, including, but not limited to, credit for future travel. The majority of applicable refunds are processed within 30 days of receipt of your cancellation. The trip is operated by Overseas Adventure Travel, they determine how the refund will be issued.

  Cancellation charges are as follows (plus $100 Club Cancellation fee):

  • After February 4, 2024 & prior to 90 days prior to departure 
  • 89-60 days prior to departure: 10% of your Trip Price 

  • 59-30 days prior to departure: 65% of your Trip Price
