President's Message

Happy New Year to all Orlando Ski & Travel Club members!  ❄️

We kicked off the winter ski season in early December with an incredible trip to Whistler, Canada, and it was Wonderful! Mother Nature delivered in a big way—fresh snow fell for four straight days, allowing us to ski the upper half of the mountain in fantastic early-season conditions with fresh snow every day. The trip brought together longtime members who’ve enjoyed this early-season adventure since 2014, along with many new faces. The energy, enthusiasm, and camaraderie were contagious! Our days wrapped up with memorable après-ski gatherings, including an outdoor nightclub experience and a lively local band that had the whole crowd singing and participating. To top it off, the Fairmont and the Whistler Walking Village were both extensively beautifully decorated for the holidays, making the entire experience feel magical.

On Wednesday, December 10th, we hosted our annual Club Christmas Party at the Sheraton Hotel in Maitland, and it was truly a spectacular holiday celebration! A huge thank-you to Robin and Christmas Elvis for helping make the evening so special. Thanks to the generosity of our members, we raised $1,583, which has been donated on your behalf to Toys for Tots, helping bring smiles to many children this holiday season.

Thank you to everyone who invited friends and neighbors to experience the fun and welcoming spirit of our club at the Christmas Party. Your next chance to invite potential new members will be at our January 2026 Monthly Social, taking place Wednesday, January 14th, from 6:00–8:00 PM at Bar Louie in Winter Park.
