Hello Orlando Ski & Adventure Travel Club members and all potential new members! 

Wekiva Island Membership Drive Picnic – Sunday May 4th 9:30am (don’t be late as the gates will close by 10:15am or so and you won’t be able to enter after that). See event details for more information regarding this year’s new member recruitment promotion. 

Lake Louisa (Clermont, FL) Cabin Party Weekend #5 – Date’s reserved are October 17-19th, 2025

Both online and in-person (at May 4th Wekiva event) signups for Lake Louisa Cabin Weekend will begin Sunday morning May 4th at 9am. The available cabins are expected to sell out quickly so be quick to sign up! It’s less than one hundred bucks to participate and stay in these nice cabins for this fun 2-day event!

Mark your calendars now for Wednesday April 9th 6-8pm for our specially planned  “Post Ski Trip Season Celebration Event”. It will be held at Gators Dockside in Baldwin Park. This social gathering will take the place of our normal monthly March and April Socials. The club will be providing food and everyone ’s first celebration drink for all attendees! Feel free to invite someone you know that may be interested in participating in the fun, good times, and laughs we have in our club.  I ’m looking forward to hearing the different fun stories from participants on Ski trips that I was unable to attend this year myself! Regarding next year’s 2025-2026 Ikon and Epic lift passes: my recommendation is for you to not renew those directly with Epic or IKON but rather renew them with our lodging partners that you may be taking a group trip with. If you travel with us, and purchase via our group wholesalers link, you can earn cash back towards the lodging portion of the trip package payable upon completion of the trip. We are in the planning stages for next season with the goal of releasing sales at the end of May and it’s shaping up to be a mix of Epic & IKON resorts. So far, the Early Dec trip is an EPIC resort and Jan FSC trip is an EPIC Partner. 

Volunteer Trip Leaders are working hard in the background right now putting together wonderful future Ski and Non-ski Adventure trip opportunities for you! Stay Tuned!

Thank you to our club members who participated online in February in reviewing and approving our proposed amendments to the club bylaws. As a result of your approval, our elected club officers will now serve a 2-year term versus a 1-year term. I personally contacted our current officers elected in 2024 to determine if each would be willing to serve an additional year. All responded yes. In addition, our club President offered to step down if any of the current Board members (both elected and appointed) had interest in running for President (previous OSTC Board experience is an eligibility requirement to run for club President). None expressed interest at this time. As a result of the Board members’ responses to my questions, our current elected officers will remain in their positions for a 2nd year. Thank you to our all-volunteer Board for taking the time to address these questions and for your continued service to OSTC. 

So many wonderful memories have been made this last month! From Big Sky, to Banff and Jackson - The fun (And show) was plentiful!
