Hello Orlando Ski and Adventure Travel Club members!
Our 2023 ski trips are flying out of MCO Orlando almost every week from January through March. They are taking people like you (or maybe you) ☺️ to great Western U.S. destinations such as Breckenridge, Steamboat and Whitefish. Just around the corner we’ll be heading to Telluride, Big Sky and Chamonix, France! No matter where you are skiing this season in the USA, snow will be plentiful and additional runs and entire mountains have opened earlier this season than ever before. Check out our Facebook page to view some of the various trip photos being posted by our club members. They will reveal some of the fun that we have on our trips. https://www.facebook.com/groups/orlandoskiclub
The Club’s January Social held at An Tobar Irish Pub was another huge success! It was a great mix of both longtime and new members looking forward to their first club trip with us. First time social attendees were able to listen to great stories and look forward to their own opportunity with next year’s ski trip signups which will happen online on our website beginning the last week of May. Make a note to be sure to check out our club trip options at that time or even a few weeks prior at our Club Membership Picnic held at Wekiva Island on May 7th.
Our next monthly social will be held only this month on the 3rd Wednesday of the month, February 15th at Bar Louie in Winter Park Village. Our Thirsty Thursday Social location, favored by many of our first-time attending people and newest club members, has moved temporarily to The Twisted Handle at 1632 N. Mills Ave Orlando, FL 32803. See our Meetup page for more information.
If anyone would like a first or second club T-shirt at our cost of only $10 each, please email me in advance at SClark2575@gmail.com and I will set it aside and bring the shirt in your requested size to the next club social for you.
I think we’re just a few weeks out from releasing ability to sign up for a Fall 2023 Hiking Adventure Trip going to Zion National Park in Utah. Start considering this fun idea now so that you’ll be ready to reserve your spot on this limited space trip quickly before it sells out.
Have a wonderful February!
