President's Message  
Hello OSTC Club members!  
Our largest multi-day event in recent years happened nearby at Lake  
Louisa in Clermont, FL recently. There were 70+ member attendees! We  
even had a new member that chose to sleep 2 nights inside her car to be  
able to attend the activities which were arranged at this sold-out event!

room in your schedule now to be able to attend next year’s Lake Louisa  
Cabin Party Weekend that will be held in October 2023!  
Mark your calendars now for these important events:  
• OSTC Christmas Party – Wednesday December 14th, at the Hilton  
Garden Inn, at 1275 Lee Rd., Winter Park, Florida, from 7pm to 11pm -  
Celebrate Christmas Holiday with fellow Orlando Ski and Travel Club  
Members – Everyone including your friends, neighbors and coworkers are  
invited to attend.  
• Sunday May 7th - Wekiva Island Membership Picnic – on this day  
you’ll be able to preview 2023-2024 Ski Trips and also sign up for our  
rd  
3 Annual Lake Louisa Cabin Party Weekend scheduled in October 2023  
• End of May – Ski Trip Launch - be ready to sign up for next year’s  
(2023-2024) Ski Trips (they sell out quickly)  
Our Thirsty Thursday Rooftop Social is really taking off like a rocket. It  
continues to be attended by many new and potential members. Find details

The Annual Craft Beer & Blues Festival for 2022 will be in Casselberry, on  
Saturday, Nov. 12, from 4pm to 10pm at Lake Concord Park. Best of blues  
music will be performed by Selwyn Birchwood,Too Slim and the  
Taildraggers and headliner, Mike Zito.  
The free event, sponsored by the City of Casselberry and the Orange  
Blossom Blues Society, will also have an art show, food trucks, product  
vendors and of course, great craft beer!  
Admission and parking are free. Bring your own chair!  
Beer + Great Live Performances + Food Trucks + Cooler Weather, sounds  
like a great night out.

Christmas Is Coming!  
Christmas is right around the corner, and so is the Orlando Ski and Travel  
Club annual Christmas party.  
We will celebrate Christmas with our club members,  
December 14th from 7pm - 11pm  
at the Hilton Garden Inn, at 1275 Lee Rd. in Winter Park. Plenty of space  
for dining, and dancing, as we rock the night away to DJ Nate Leslie, and  
his repertoire of tunes.  
Take a break from the crowd, cool off on the outside patio, after acquiring a  
drink from the full bar. Parking is also plentiful, so no hunting for a place to  
park. Put on your dancing shoes, and plan on an evening of fun, friendship,  
and Christmas cheer in the upscale ambiance of The Hilton Garden Inn.
