I currently serve on the board as Secretary and just led my first Trip to Snowmass in January of this year. What a great time, with a great group of skiers, at a wonderful resort. Boy, that almost feels like a lifetime ago...I’m originally from Chicago but my family moved to the Central Florida area when I was 8, so I consider myself a “Native” Florida Gal. I graduated from Florida State (GO NOLES!) with a Bachelor’sin Nursing and spent the first 10 years working at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital in the Neonatal ICU and then Outpatient Surgery. I finished up the last 13 years of my nursing career here in Winter Park. While I loved nursing, it was time for a change! So, after 23 years(and a tiny bit of burn-out), I transitioned to selling real estate full-time 7 years ago, got licensed as a Broker and opened Valence Realty Group with my main squeeze, Chuck.I’d never skied before in my life until a trip 7 years ago over Thanksgiving to Aspen with our best friends, Earl and Laura Schuette. The resorts opened early that year, so I signed up for a class and hit the Meadows in Snowmass and was HOOKED. Our first trip with the club was to Whistler in 2016 and that’s where our love affair with OSTC was born. We’ve traveled with the club every year since and our involvement with the club has continued to grow. We’ve made so many wonderful, lasting friendships;have had SO much fun on each and every trip and at club socials. I truly miss everyone and look forward to our get-togethers and future trips once again. | | | MONTHLY EVENTSJoin your Orlando Ski & Travel Club friends at the following events.
